Daniel C. Tinsley, AIF®
President
Dan has worked as a financial advisor since 2012. He works primarily with business owners, physicians, executives, and successful families throughout southern New England and Florida. He is passionate about helping clients develop clarity and focus on their financial and estate planning goals.
Dan holds the FINRA 6, 63, and 65 securities registrations, and also holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) designation.
Dan graduated from Wachusett Regional High School and the College of the Holy Cross, where he received a BA in philosophy in 2001. He lives in Rutland, Massachusetts, with his family. Outside of work, Dan enjoys spending quality time with family and close friends. He also enjoys reading, hunting, exercise, and nutrition.
David N. Tinsley, CLU®, ChFC®, AIF®
Financial Advisor
David brings several decades of planning experience to his advisory and wealth management practice at Tinsley Financial. He left the banking industry in 1980 and entered the financial services industry. He has served as a financial advisor ever since.
For 15 years, David was the resident investment specialist for the DeYoung-Wasgatt Insurance Agency, which, in turn, was a large general agency for the New England Life Insurance Company and New England Securities. In this role, he was responsible for training and supporting 40 advisors. In 2016, he joined Commonwealth Financial Network, the largest privately held independent broker/dealer in the country.
David earned his Chartered Life Underwriter® (CLU®) and Chartered Financial Consultant® (ChFC®) designations from the American College in Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, in 1984. He also holds FINRA Series 6, 7, 22, 63, and 65 securities registrations and the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) designation.
David has served as president of the Estate and Business Planning Council of Worcester County; president of the Worcester Life Underwriters Association; president of the Massachusetts Life Underwriters Association (now MEFA); and ethics chairman of the Society of Financial Service Professionals of Central Massachusetts.
Originally from Worcester, David attended Classical High School and received a BA in history from the College of the Holy Cross in 1969. He lived in Sterling, Massachusetts, from 1975 to 2017, when he and his wife, Carolyn, moved to Boylston. David and Carolyn also have a home in Centerville, Massachusetts. He is the proud father of seven sons and ten grandchildren (and counting). He enjoys fishing, golf, spending time with family and friends, and his frequent travels to Cape Cod.
Laurie A. Hamilton
Executive Assistant
Laurie has worked in financial services for more than 25 years and has been with Tinsley Financial for the past 14 years. She has extensive experience assisting in life, disability, long-term care, and annuity sales for Tinsley Financial. She also provides exceptional, personalized customer service to our clients.
Laurie is life licensed and holds the FINRA Series 6 securities registration and has completed the FLMI (Fellow, Life Management Institute) program.
Laurie graduated from Norton High School and received her associate degree in business administration from Massasoit Community College.
Laurie resides in Worcester, Massachusetts, with her two children. She enjoys spending time with her kids and also enjoys hiking, cooking for her friends, reading, and spending time with her five brothers and sisters.
Amanda L. Grenon
Executive Administrative Assistant
Amanda has been with Tinsley Financial since the spring of 2020. She is often the first point of contact for the clients, has become the IT person for the office, and has taken the lead on a variety of administrative tasks and client services. She works closely with the others to assist in life insurance and investment matters. She most recently passed her license tests and received her Insurance Producer License for Massachusetts.
Amanda graduated from Auburn Senior High School and Quinsigamond Community College, receiving two associate degrees and a certificate in computer information systems. For seven years, she worked in various IT environments and in customer support before joining Tinsley Financial.
Amanda lives in her hometown of Auburn, where she became a first-time homeowner with her fiance. When not working on home projects, she enjoys being with friends, playing board games, gardening, and watching TV.
